Behind the Scenes: It Started With a Beer

Like many great ideas, this one started over a beer at the Beer Engine in Titahi Bay. 

What began as a conversation between friends over a beer somehow turned into a full book of one-shot adventures. It turns out giving four Game Masters a shared project was every bit as dangerous as it sounds.

After months of writing, editing, rewriting, and asking important questions like "does this encounter need more goblins?", we're finally approaching the finish line.

The adventures are written. The final details have been polished. The book is currently being formatted and prepared for release.

With the online launch now just around the corner, we're incredibly excited to finally share these adventures with other Game Masters. Over the coming weeks, we'll be taking you behind the scenes of the writing process, adventure design, and some of the questionable decisions that somehow survived editing.

It's been a long journey from that first beer to a finished book, but we're almost there.

Now we just have to survive the formatting stage.
