The Next Book Is Taking Shape
When people think about writing a one-shot adventure, they usually picture someone sitting at a desk typing out a story.
The reality is a little different. Picture coffee, energy drinks, pizza, and some surprisingly heated debates about how the same layout format can work across completely different adventures.
After countless drafts, maps, stat blocks, handouts, magic items, artwork, and enough notes to fill several notebooks, the next book has entered the formatting stage. Created by four Kiwi GMs, each adventure started as a simple idea before slowly growing into something ready for your table.
There have been plenty of revisions, more than a few "one last change" moments, and at least one occasion where adding just one more goblin somehow resulted in reformatting half the book.
If creating adventures is the fun part, formatting them is the part where you discover just how many ways a single image can refuse to fit on a page.
