100 Town Rumours Volume 1 – Fantasy RPG Adventure Ideas

“Now, I don't normally repeat gossip, but...”

Every town has them…. The shopkeeper who's convinced someone has been stealing from the back room, the traveller who arrived with a story nobody quite believes, the local who knows something about the missing merchant but isn't saying, and the town guard who's starting to ask too many questions.

Some rumours are true, some are wildly exaggerated, some are complete nonsense, and some are just convincing enough to send a party poking around town.

100 Town Rumours – Volume 1 gives you 100 rumours to drop into your game whenever the party starts asking questions, listening to the locals, or simply wandering around town looking for trouble.

You'll find stories about missing people, strange visitors, local disputes, suspicious businesses, thieves, merchants, the town watch, unexpected fortunes and plenty of other things people would probably rather keep quiet.

Roll a d100 or pick one that fits.

Some might lead somewhere. Some might not. Either way, you've just given the party something to talk about.
